Monday 6th May to Friday 10th May inclusive
Berry Medical Centre Flu Clinic will run for a week commencing
from 8:30am to 9:00am
All patients of the practice are invited to arrive between these times to receive your flu injection, no appointment is necessary.
High risk patients are
Free of Charge
(over 65 years, chronic disease patients, pregnant women, and children aged between 6 months and 5 years)
Low risk patients are invited to have the vaccine. This is a sound decision and can be provided for a fee of $20. Your medical record will be updated accordingly.
We look forward to seeing you and administering the vaccine.
Each year the recommendations for the most appropriate influenza vaccines change and at the time of printing we await news from the government on the most appropriate strains. It is not recommended to not give the vaccine early, as your immunity may run out before the flu season is over. This was the case in 2016 when the flu season extended to November/December, and those having received their vaccines early may in fact have had to be reimmunized.
